Trick Or Treat!

Last year he was a Lion...this year, it was all about Pirates! Jake and the Neverland Pirates is one of his favorite shows, and Melanie found a great Pirate costume for him to wear this year.

We boycotted 'Trunk or Treat' again this year, and showed Ethan how to trick or treat the real way...door to door!

Carving Time!!!

It was finally time to carve Ethan's pumpkin harvest and what a mess we made! Ethan loved carving pumpkins this year. He got to 'pull the guts out' and really wanted to use Dad's knife (don't worry, we didn't let him have it!).  We all had great fun carving though, and this year no one got sick!

Playing In The Leaves!

Who didn't love playing in a pile of leaves when they were a kid? I know I sure did, and we got to watch Ethan doing the same thing and being a kid! No TV...no video games...no tablets. Just a pile of leaves and a rake is all we needed to have fun!

Hogle Zoo

Before Halloween, we took a little break from life and headed up to Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City with Melanie's family. What a fun trip this was! The kids had a blast and got to see all kinds of animals at the zoo. Elephants, Polar bears, and Gorillas...oh my!

Ethan got to play with all his cousins and monkey around the zoo all day!

The Most Sincere Pumpkin Patch...

Ethan with this year's Pumpkins.
Back in May we planted several pumpkin plants...one was a pre-started plant that Grandma Deeno gave to Ethan, the other two were just seeds. Last year we had a crop of about 40 pumpkins, but this year the only one that grew was Ethan's plant (he must have had the Great Pumpkin on his side!).

It's almost time to carve them!

Helping Around The House...

Trying on Dad's boots.
Ethan loves to help us around the house. Anything from gardening, to sweeping, and cleaning. Whatever needs to be done, he is always there to help! Here are just a few random shots of him helping us do some chores!
